Lewes Station 1857 to 1889
The station building is described as a "Swiss Chalet" style building constructed from timber frame in-filled with brick at ground floor level. I believe from close examination of the photographs that the building was built symmetrically and that later the front right hand side was replaced with an all brick waiting room. Pictures 1 to 4 represent the early building and pictures 5 and 6 the later modification. This is the only building currently physically modelled in 4mm scale and can be seen by clicking here
